In 2001, Allan Karr was in Andra Pradesh training indigenous pastors, and God started a partnership with Yesupadam Kommuri, a young church planter with a passion for the tribes of India who needed the gospel.

 

Rhema Ministry was founded as the India partner of Ethne Global Services. Over the last two decades, 60 churches have been started from the first home church, most in villages where there were no Christians before. We have focused on raising up indigenous leaders and 7 pastors have graduated from Gateway with a Diploma of Christian Ministry.

 

Allan is the Godfather of Yesupadam’s two daughters, Annie and Beth. Both of those girls have grown up and now attending college, translating for the trainings, and both are committed to ministering the gospel to the tribes of their ministry. The Kommuri family is held together by Grace Lydia, the wife and mom of the family. This godly family has served faithfully for over 20 years and the ministry bears much fruit.
